Guy looked at the bike yesterday,
but decided against, so that continues. Two things about that: Watching someone else ride it out of sight was almost painful. Moving it was physically painful; with this back trouble, selling it is definitely the thing to do. Like it or not.
I would only let the most experienced rider test drive my Goldwing and it will be very easy for me to tell whether someone knows how to properly handle a 900 pound bike or not. I have offered it up a couple of times to acquaintances that ride H-D full dressers, but they always decline. I believe it is because they are afraid to fall in love.
Son once spent a few months as a mechanic working at a bike shop, which gave him his first experience with a Gold Wing. His comment was "If I was going to do a lot of long-distance riding, that would be it."
