My mother in law was a "professional" as a Flamenco and a Belly Dancer. She performed as a costumed extra in movies and on television. She also taught others in her studio. I went with her troupe to a weekend belly dance festival, one year. Believe me, after watching all the obese and anorexic versions of belly dance for three days, these bloodshot eyes don't need to see that spectacle ever again.

Yeah. There are a lot of women who are overweight who are in belly dance classes, I guess part of the 'body positivity ' movement.
