Re-blue a mint rifle? Thou varlet, stand in the corner with your face to the wall! May as well stick a folding polymer stock, picatinny rail and a red dot on it. It should be displayed in humidity and temperature control under uv-filtered glass, with a drool resistant marble viewing stand before it.
ReplyDeleteThat's the original color case-hardening, as it came from the factory. Between handling and sunlight, most rifles it's faded out by this time.
