Dad had the surgery,

 and about a day or so later had to have another, some internal problem.

At this point it was too much insult on top of all else.  He didn't make it.

    Losing dad is always hard, the one man we grow up with who always seemed invincible when we are young is hard to believe can ever be anything less. so sorry for your loss

    Not to worry Firehand. Your father's spirit still lives as do all who occupy these biological "meatsuits". We either get recycled back to this "prison" planet or move on. Energy is not destroyed, it just changes form. I too, miss my departed family members just like you miss your pops. I mean this sincerely, Firehand, we never really "die", we just get better at living. I hope this helps. Ohio Guy
