"These bullets you sold me don't fit."

"Let's look this over...

Sir, this ammo is for .223, but your rifle is marked .300 Blackout."

"So you sold me the wrong stuff!"

Happily this happened with a coworker, and he probably handled it better than I might have.

    I pulled a similar stupid at a past gun show. Purchased several magazines from a box, thinking they were all the same. Instead, one of them was for a platform I do not own. Luckily, vendor was cool with switching it out for the correct unit. Stupid on my part - completely my fault.
