Crap...doesn't appear to work on my type of Tinnitus...only somatic.
Luckily, mine doesn't affect my ability to work or sleep, but it's definitely annoying.
I have trouble hearing individual sounds with a lot of background noise...I'm virtually deaf in a bar type setting. All I can hear is a wall of noise, I can't distinguish individual voices. And I have problems with high pitched sounds. I can't hear a watch alarm at all.
I have lots of company. Mine is that, aside from the ring, if there's a lot of background noise I can hear someone speaking but can't make out the words.
Sounds promissing. Hope they get it to market soon.

Sailorcurt, my ears do that too! I refer to it as "filling up" when there's lots of background noise, and I can't filter out the noise.
