Is it only Israel the UN hates?

Or all Jews(at least all that haven't become proper 'The Jews are awful' types)?
“Two weeks ago, I was shocked to hear that UNESCO adopted a decision denying any Jewish connection to the Temple Mount, our holiest site. It is hard to believe that anyone, let alone an organization tasked with preserving history, could deny this link, which spans thousands of years,” he wrote.
To borrow from the eminent Dr. Cooper, "You continue to underestimate them, sir."

Ain't this thing purty?
Cabela's can get it.  And I want one, badly.  But I rarely have a place to shoot with a range longer than a hundred yards, which seems like a waste for this.  Dammit.  Sometimes being a responsible adult sucks worse than others.

“We progressives believe in diversity, and we want women, blacks, Latinos, gays and Muslims at the table — er, so long as they aren’t conservatives … We’re fine with people who don’t look like us, as long as they think like us,” Kristof wrote.
Did it actually hurt to let that truth out, Kristof?

"Why do you want to carry a gun?"  "Wild pigs, the damn things're everywhere!"

    in 45-70.

A fun gun, but I never get to shot it more than 150 yds .

accurate little bastard. Especially with paper patched bullets.

  2. Yep, Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Hunter. I dearly want one, but can't convince myself for the price.

    Oooh, what's yours like?

  4. I did not need the Navy Arms SMLE that was converted to .45-70. But once I picked it up at the gun store, I could not get my fingers to uncurl. It does not get shot very often, but sometimes it is more about wanting than needing.

  5. I've heard of that conversion... interesting...
Yeah, I've got the wants bad here.

B, what load did you wind up with?

  6. I'm using a 400 grain pure lead .444 cal bullet... paper patched with lined notebook paper.

45.3 grains 4895 with a .500 cardboard wad over the powder.

Sized to .458 and lubed with beeswax and vaseline.

It'll shoot 2" at 150 yds with a ladder peep sight.

I can hit a 5 gallon bucket 90% of the time at 450 yards.

    Kicks like a mule though.

  7. BTW, Approach this load slowly, like any load you get off the internet. IIRC, Never exceed max loads, etc etc etc.

  10. Not really in a hurry to sell. But she has become a safe queen....and when that happens, I start looking for a good home for them....

A lot of fun to shoot, and makes you friends at the range every trip.

    You should get yourself one.

  11. Patched with notebook paper? That's interesting, everything I've ever seen said onionskin.

Is that a .5" wad, or thinner?
