I will note that on this Christmas day

I have
Cleared a double-wide driveway of global warming residue,
Helped get three cars unstuck(and if I see one of them again I may shoot him),
Cleared part of another driveway,
Changed a flat tire,
And discovered that my battery is almost shot; so tomorrow-after all's open- I have to put in a new one.

And got a short call from the son, in northern Iraq. Where's it's 50-something and dry, the bastard.

I now ache in most of the joints of my body.

Dinner. Booze. Rest.
