Oh Lord, the stupid... it actually hurts

And a second dose

Hey, if I had to suffer through those, the least you can do is accompany me

Why yes, Emmanuel is

an asshole.
https://gunfreezone.net/emmanuel-is-an-asshole/

I might as well get this on the verdict out of the way, from a law professor,

and he's not the only one:
"I think, as I said before, that this case was legally unfounded. When they were reading those guilty verdicts, the one thing that we didn't know is really what he was found guilty of. Because if you remember, the judge allowed the jury to find guilt on any one of the three secondary crimes," Turley said. That meant the jury didn't have to determine exactly what crime was committed.

"We weren't told whether the jury found any one of those crimes, whether they found all three of those crimes. I'm not too sure we will know that. That's one of the many issues that I think presents reversible problems in this case," Turley assessed.   (bold mine)
Which is a polite way of saying  "This is such bullshit, it's amazing."

The good: the NRA vs. Vullo case was a real win for the good guys

The Court explained that the First Amendment prohibits government officials from relying on the "threat of invoking legal sanctions and other means of coercion … to achieve the suppression" of disfavored speech. Although the commission lacked the "power to apply formal legal sanctions," the distributor "reasonably understood" the commission to threaten adverse action, and thus the distributor's "compliance with the [c]ommission's directives was not voluntary." To reach this conclusion, the Court considered things like: the commission's coordination with law enforcement and its authority to refer matters for prosecution; the notices themselves, which were "phrased virtually as orders" containing "thinly veiled threats to institute criminal proceedings" if the distributor did not come around; and the distributor's reaction to the notices and followup visits….

Ultimately, Bantam Books stands for the principle that a government official cannot do indirectly what she is barred from doing directly: A government official cannot coerce a private party to punish or suppress disfavored speech on her behalf….

And all 9 handed Vullo her ass.
With, of course, Jackson saying "But the .gov should have some lattitude here, because reasons."  Still a solid victory.  All it needs now is suing Vullo for her actions.

Yes, the left got what it wanted,

convictions for Trump.  That are sure to be reversed, when the crap the prosecutors and judge pulled are appealed.  But they don't care.

They also don't care about the damage they did to the justice system, particularly in New effing York.

As someone said a few years ago, they'll start caring when someone uses their new rules against them.  But it'll be too late then.

A favorite gun

Of all the revolvers I've fired over the years, this has got to be my #1

Smith & Wesson K38 Target Masterpiece(pic grabbed off the net).  This is a K-frame revolver with a 6" barrel and target sights.  A bit of history:
Smith & Wesson inaugurated the K-Masterpiece series just after World War II. First introduced was the K-22 in December 1946, with the K-32 and K-38 following by the summer of 1947. They were all of a type, with 6″ barrels, patridge style front sights and fully adjustable rear sights. Grips were checkered walnut which the company termed Magna style. They were double actions, although some K38’s were built with single action only mechanisms.*
I once read that this happened when S&W decided 'to make the world's most accurate target pistols', at which they pretty much succeeded.

The one I had was well-used, by a guy who'd been on a LE agency match team.  It had the oversize grips, and he'd had someone who really knew their stuff do a bit more polishing and tuning on the action, and oh my did HE succeed; between his work and years of use it was the slickest action I'd ever worked.  And very accurate, I referred to it as "It even makes me shoot well!"

It was the only pistol I've ever been able to fire a 50-shot group(postal match) tight enough that you couldn't count most of them because the group was one big hole.  A damn fine revolver.

The K22 I've fired wasn't as slick as this, but it wouldn't take much to get it there, the K32 I had the joyous chance to fire was pretty close, and all were more accurate than I.  The only problem with any of the three was the K22 match chambers got dirty fairly quickly and might need a brush and swab to clear them.

You can find a good- or even fine- shooter in .38 or .22 fairly easily, they made a lot of them; if you want the .32, be prepared to spend time and money, because they made a lot fewer of them, and most were shot little, if any, and command premium prices.**  Used?  At the big gun show in Tulsa there are always a couple of big S&W collectors, and I asked one of them if they ever saw any used K32s: "every once in a while you'll hear about one, but they disappear from the market fast."  I suspect they've been handed down in families, and are only sold out of real need for money, or landing in the hands of a relative who doesn't care about it.

So if you want a revolver for target and/or small game, I can highly recommend any of these; the K22 will be cheaper to feed, the .38 has more power, and if you did find a K32 a quick search shows you'll find it as or a little more expensive than the .38 Special.

**The time I asked the other collector that, "I've got a used one there" and pointed to a box on the table.  The thing looked brand new, and I asked "How is this 'used'?"
"The other side has a few speckles in the bluing."
Ponder on that.  "And how much?"
"$4000."
That's what I mean by 'premium'

Holy crap... at what point do we start taking corrupt bureaucrats and pharma execs

and idiot judges and just making wind chimes out of them?
From 2000, increasing mumps outbreaks amongst the fully vaccinated and boosted prompted the FDA to instruct Merck to prove the 95 per cent protection claim, otherwise they would lose their licence. Merck re-ran the numbers and fell way short. They designed a test to measure effectiveness – Protocol 7 – that included rabbit’s blood in the hope it would falsely enhance the sensitivity of it. They also swapped the wild measles virus for the weakened vaccine strain in the test. Nothing improved the figures enough and they stood to lose millions in revenue. Investigating the alleged fraud, Dr Andy Wakefield said: ‘At that stage they simply decided to cross out the numbers and change them for numbers that gave them the result they wanted.’

Despite overwhelming evidence, first highlighted in 2010 by Merck whistleblowers, virologists Stephen Krahling and Joan Wlochowski, last July Judge Chad F Kenney ruled in favour of the drugs giant who claimed that doctoring the data did not matter because the US government knew and continued to buy their MMR jab anyway. The government’s defence was that they had no choice as they had to protect children against measles. Merck hold the US monopoly for MMR, and measles was targeted for global eradication using the vaccine. An appeal is expected to be heard next month.

And what does this corruption mean for the Wuhan vaccines?

Because most of our media are script-reading Democrat operatives

with bylines:
In other words? By this point, there were estimates aplenty in the media that there would be anywhere from almost a half million to 1.5 million to 2.2 million dead Americans. But mysteriously in all the stories about the 100,000 dead Americans there is no mention - zero - of earlier media predictions that there would be ten or twenty times that number of deaths.

Not to mention that the media seems reluctant to focus on just why the number is up to 100,000 in the first place. There is a reason, as discussed over at The American Spectator by my colleague the historian Paul Kengor. Paul lives, as do I, in Pennsylvania. And here is his headline: "Pennsylvania’s Nursing Home COVID-19 Scandal."
Yeah, Gov. Howler in New effing York wasn't the only place murdering people in nursing homes.
...
In other words? The 100,000 death toll number would have been less, possibly much less, if the governors of those three states alone had not insisted on sending Covid patients to nursing homes. As Paul Kengor noted, in Pennsylvania alone 70 percent of Pennsylvania’s 5400 fatalities were in nursing homes.

But no word on this in the media.

I'm attempting to catch up on some things,

one of them being all the brass that needs processing, and got a few rounds loaded.  But there's a lot more to do.

However, there are things like mowing, and cleaning that are also 'way behind.  And that bitch Arthritis has a say in some things.

If you never hear from me again, remember I tried.

That they lied about the vaccines isn't even news anymore, but

just what the lied about sometimes is.
IN 2021 when the Office for National Statistics (ONS) started releasing its vaccine by mortality status reports we revealed that there were large spikes in the non-covid death rates in the ‘unvaccinated’. These spikes in mortality coincided with the first main vaccine rollout and did so for each age group (see this report, for example).
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/we-were-right-the-uk-ons-now-admit-that-deaths-in-the-vaccinated-were-categorised-as-unvaccinated-in-2021/

And some of the side-effects, well, they really lied about.
New research conducted by Flinders University and global specialists is deepening our knowledge of vaccine-induced immune thrombocytopenia and thrombosis (VITT). During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, VITT was recognized as a new condition linked to adenovirus vector-based vaccines, particularly the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

VITT was found to be caused by an unusually dangerous blood autoantibody directed against a protein termed platelet factor 4 (or PF4). In separate research in 2023, researchers from Canada, North America, Germany, and Italy described a virtually identical disorder with the same PF4 antibody that was fatal in some cases after natural adenovirus (common cold) infection.

https://scitechdaily.com/scientists-decode-deadly-blood-clot-disorder-triggered-by-covid-vaccines/

There really are a lot of people involved in this who belong in jail.  At the least.

Speaking of the enemy,
A state Democratic lawmaker allegedly warned members of the University of Pennsylvania’s anti-Israel encampment of a “credible threat” for a police sweep.

According to group chat communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Examiner, Pennsylvania House Rep. Rick Krajewski “relayed” the warning with a time frame of within the “next 24 hours.” The warning allowed the group to jettison equipment before the encampment was torn down by law enforcement, according to the students.

A new set of Twitter files, these on the CIA

But now, a new Twitter Files investigation reveals that a member of the Board of Trustees of the CIA’s mission-driven venture capital firm and ostensibly “former” IC and CIA analysts were involved in a 2021-2022 effort to take over Twitter’s content management system.

The effort also involved:
— a long-time IC contractor and senior Department of Defense R&D official who spent years developing technologies to detect whistleblowers (“insider threats”) like Edward Snowden and Wikileaks’ leakers;

— the proposed head of the DHS’ aborted Disinformation Governance Board, Nina Jankowicz, who aided US military and NATO “hybrid war” operations in Europe;

— Jim Baker, who, as FBI General Counsel, helped start the Russiagate hoax, and, as Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, urged Twitter executives to censor The New York Post story about Hunter Biden.

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1793666016704356735.html

Oh yeah, there's more, including that Jankowicz who was going to run the .gov 'disinformation' organization until people found out about it.  Who, among other things, said
Jankowicz points to Europe as the model for regulating speech. “Germany’s NetzDG law requires social media companies and other content hosts to remove ‘obviously illegal’ speech within twenty-four hours,” she says, “or face a fine of up to $50 million.”

By contrast, in the US, she laments, “Congress has yet to pass a bill imposing even the most basic of regulations related to social media and election advertising.”

The purpose of her book is to sound the alarm and offer a vision.

Her vision being a nightmare for free speech.

Bleep, I've got a lot of gifs

I need to start using them

And down below,

Seems a lot of people in a lot of countries don't want the WHO giving orders

and controlling what people say.  Good.
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2024/05/26/no-deal-w-h-o-fails-to-secure-global-pandemic-treaty/

You'll notice the standard "It's for the world's own good!" noise:
“We will try everything — believing that anything is possible — and make this happen because the world still needs a pandemic treaty,” Tedros said. “Because many of the challenges that caused a serious impact during COVID-19 still exist.”
Which boils down to "Ignore the damage we did and the lies, give us this power!  For the Future!"

Personally, if anything is possible, there should be a bunch of bureaucrats and control-freak politicians either hanging from lampposts or, at the least, receiving the canings they deserve.

As to the BATF people not wearing body cameras, update

yes, they're damn well supposed to:
Sept. 2021
Today, the Department of Justice announced the launch of the first phase of its Body-Worn Camera Program that requires department law enforcement personnel use body-worn cameras (BWCs) during pre-planned law enforcement operations. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Phoenix and Detroit Field Divisions began using BWCs today during these pre-planned operations. Over the course of the next several weeks, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) will begin the first phase of their BWC programs. The department’s plans include a phased implementation of BWCs, and rely upon Congress to secure the necessary funding to equip agents nationwide with BWCs.
...
“ATF welcomes the use of body worn cameras by our agents,” said Acting Director Marvin G. Richardson of the ATF. “The department’s policy reflects ATF’s commitment to transparency as we work to reduce firearm violence in our communities.”

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-announces-first-federal-agents-use-body-worn-cameras

'Welcomes the use'.  'Commitment to transparency'.  Apparently, only when they feel like it.

Update:
A few months later, on Sept. 1, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced a new policy requiring federal agents to wear body cameras during pre-planned operations. Still in the aftermath of protests and riots following Floyd's murder, Garland said the new policy would "promote transparency and confidence, not only with the communities we serve and protect, but also among our state, local and Tribal law enforcement partners who work alongside our federal agents each day."

Biden followed up with an executive order on May 25, 2022. The president instructed federal agency heads to draft policies that meet or exceed Garland's memo within three months. Within a year, Garland and other top Justice Department officials were to complete a study assessing the costs and benefits of officers reviewing camera footage before they finish reports, which would be used to set a standard of best practices for law enforcement around the nation.

https://www.startribune.com/ear-after-bidens-executive-order-body-cameras-majority-federal-agents-minnesota-not-yet-wearing/600278243/
Yet lots of agencies/agents aren't bothering/don't care/"You can't make us."  I'm sure with appropriate excuses.

The BATFEIEIO Director had little to say about this latest death other than

"I can't comment since there's an investigation going on."
https://www.ammoland.com/2024/05/atf-director-grilled-about-malinowski-killing-during-heated-congressional-hearing/
ATF agents cut off the electricity to Bryan Malinowski’s Little Rock home before executing their search warrant on March 19. None of the agents wore body cameras, and they covered Malinowski’s doorbell camera with tape to hide their actions. Fifty-seven seconds after kicking down the front door, Malinowski was fatally shot in the head. His wife, Maer Malinowski, was pulled out of her home wearing only bedclothes and forced into the back of a squad car, where she was held against her will for four hours in 34-degree weather despite her frequent pleas to check on her dying husband.

“If that isn’t weaponization of government, I don’t know what is,” Congressman Jim Jordan, R-OH, said Thursday morning during a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee, which he chairs.

Why, you'd think the bastards had some reason to want there to be no video record of their actions...

I present to you my labors in the collection of beauties

The UN in general should be treated by Lawdog's method:

dump them all in the bay(I think after suitable chumming for sharks) and then blow the building.

But the UNRWA and the ones directly supporting it... just hang the bastards.
Israeli forces have discovered a tunnel network hundreds of metres (yards) long and running partly under UNRWA's Gaza headquarters, the military says, calling it new evidence of Hamas exploitation of the main relief agency for Palestinians.

Army engineers took reporters for foreign news outlets through the passages at a time of crisis for UNRWA, which has launched an internal probe and seen a string of donor countries freeze funding over allegations last month by Israel that some of its staff doubled as Hamas operatives.

Glenn was found inside the victims’ home, according to the newspaper.

“It was discovered that Lindsey Glenn used a ruse to gain entry into the victims’ residence,” Blackman said in the video. “Once inside the residence, he produced a firearm and shot the female victim in the face. The male victim, seeing his wife shot, armed himself with what is described as a 7-inch garden knife.”

Blackman said the male victim then “went to work” with the knife, overpowering Glenn and killing him.

Applause.
And the background of the deceased?
Blackman said that Glenn had been convicted “at least 12 times” of robbery and burglary charges and served at least six terms in Florida’s state prison system.

It appears Trump can manage to live in their heads constantly

I figured the 'use of force' crap over the raid(which they did not want called a raid) was their standard crap; it appears Trump pointing it out really pissed Garland & Co. off.
https://nypost.com/2024/05/23/us-news/ag-merrick-garland-denounces-trumps-claim-of-deadly-force-authorization-in-mar-a-lago-raid-false-and-extremely-dangerous/

My first thought is "Tough shit, clowns.  You made a big production raid out of this, including agents in body armor with M16s and so forth, you'd better expect noise about it."

And this was in a place secured by the Secret Service already, but no, you HAD to have your big production.  Including screwing with evidence for photo ops.  So Garland can kiss my ass.

You're in the hospital. Do you want to have to worry if the doctors

got that title because of DEI?
So when it came time for the admissions committee to consider one such student in November 2021—a black applicant with grades and test scores far below the UCLA average—some members of the committee felt that this particular candidate, based on the available evidence, was not the best fit for the top-tier medical school, according to two people present for the committee's meeting.

Their reservations were not well-received.

When an admissions officer voiced concern about the candidate, the two people said, the dean of admissions, Jennifer Lucero, exploded in anger.

"Did you not know African-American women are dying at a higher rate than everybody else?" Lucero asked the admissions officer, these people said. The candidate's scores shouldn't matter, she continued, because "we need people like this in the medical school."

That's all the quote I need from this mess, go read the rest.  Asshats like Lucero don't seem to give a damn if people die or are crippled because someone who shouldn't be there was allowed to pretend to be a Doctor, as long as they have the right skin-color mix.
Race-based admissions have turned UCLA into a "failed medical school," said one former member of the admissions staff. "We want racial diversity so badly, we're willing to cut corners to get it."
And that means their willing to cut patients lives to get it.

I  hope some patients who've had to deal with these substandard doctors get together and sue the ass off the people responsible.

Which is a fancy way of saying "Sometimes cops lie.  And that does not exactly help your relations with the community.

And there seems to have been a number of cases lately, including feds, where they either don't turn their cameras on or don't bother to wear them.  Guess what that makes you look like?

Thursday, May 23, 2024

I'm shocked! SHOCKED, I tell you!

"Sgt. Rashawn Vaughn, commanding officer of the Homeland Security Investigations Financial Crimes Task Force (HSIFCTF), spoke with the press after the raid and made some startling admissions. According to the investigator, DHS is tracking the sale of anything that can be used to create a firearm, including metal rails used in 3D-printed guns. Not only is the government monitoring the sale of perfectly legal gun parts, but they are also tracking things such as the purchase of 3D printers. The vast majority of people who buy 3D printers do not use them to print guns, but buying too many printing supplies or printers could get you investigated by Homeland Security.

There is no federal law against making homemade firearms, even though the Biden Administration demonizes the practice by calling privately manufactured firearms (PMFs) “ghost guns.” The lack of federal statute banning the PMFs means that DHS is investigating people for carrying out perfectly lawful commerce. If someone passes a certain threshold for purchasing 3D printing supplies, which DHS hasn’t announced, the federal government admitted that it would investigate the buyer and monitor their social media."

She's right. If a Trump kid's diary had been found and had stuff like this in it,

it would be the lead story on every network, and no journalist would get through a press conference without howling about it.  But it's Biden's daughter's diary which she has acknowledged is hers and real, so no.  Which is why this is in a Brit news site.
In 2019, Ashley Biden, the then 37-year-old daughter of President Biden and his wife Jill, wrote in her journal about showering with her father at an inappropriate age as well as her fears that, as a child, she was sexually abused.

Explosive stuff. Not that you would have heard about it, thanks to a near-complete, years-long media blackout.
...
The diary, which also contained details of her drug use, was then found in 2020 by a Florida woman who stole it, leaked its contents online, and sold it for $40,000.

All that time, the Biden campaign let the left-wing media, of its own volition, cast aspersions on the diary's authenticity, or dismiss it as a right-wing plant of dubious veracity, another Russia hoax. Just as with Hunter Biden's laptop.

Turns out both are all too real.

Real, and most of our Professional Journalists are still trying to ignore it, with some still claiming the laptop story is Russian disinformation, and just ignoring the diary story.

Because they sold out a long time ago.

How to get idiots to give you a state

"So: Hamas butchers and rapes a bunch of innocent people, diligently documents it all on livestream video, and now the world is supposed to hand them a state? Please take that idea and stuff it up your bottom with a broom handle till your tonsils ache.

It’s official: Antisemitism is mainstream, and nobody cares because none of these guys are wearing MAGA hats.

The left and the right both have a big antisemitism problem. They’ve both got a bunch of weirdos who hate Jews and are always finding reasons to blame them for everything. The difference is that the right shuns and belittles their loathsome antisemites, while the left sends theirs out in a suit and tie to address the entire world.

It ain’t just Ireland, of course. Biden is currently coddling the Jew-haters in his own party because he desperately needs their votes."

Treacherous bastard

"Why won't these stupid parents trust us to know what's best for their kids?"

Well,
A healthcare organization that operates clinics inside Seattle public schools says it can now offer “gender-affirming” hormone treatment to children, emails from a health center program manager reveal.

Emails obtained by The Daily Wire reveal that Neighborcare Health, a healthcare organization that runs clinics in middle and elementary schools in the Seattle Public Schools district, announced in January 2023 that hormone treatments were now included in the “gender-affirming care” it could offer.

“The Neighborcare Health team wanted to share an exciting new update to our School-based Health Center services,” the email from a Program Manager for Neighborcare Health, which was obtained by Parents Defending Education through a public records request, reads. “Our program will begin offering comprehensive, evidence-based, gender-affirming care services to our students and families who need them.”

I think things like this are damn good reason to not trust the bastards.  And that goes from the school boards down.

And on the bad side of the New & Shiny,

makes me wonder just how much ammo will be available for training.

This is getting even more interesting

The Ninth Circuit, in U.S. v. Duarte, has joined the Third Circuit's Range decision in holding the Gun Control Act's ban on firearm possession by felons (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1)) in violation of the Second Amendment as applied to convictions for non-violent offenses that have no Founding-era analogues.  Prof. Volokh summarized the decision when it was released on May 9.  The court's opinion is extraordinarily thorough and deserves a deeper dive.

Hell of a Monday...

Biden & Co. to Ukraine: "We don't want you to lose, but we don't want you to win, either."

Which sounds like what they're doing to Israel, just in a different way.

Huge increase in suicide risk after 'gender-affirming surgery'... Well, when you're taking usually mentally troubled kids who haven't been given real counseling and pushing them into this, what the hell did they think was going to happen?

I'd said before, I wondered how much of the high suicide rate among the group was because they started transitioning, realized this was NOT fixing their problems, and gave up; looks like it might be quite a bit.

A fine case of failure in the victim selection process

A lot of the Democrat Party isn't just in opposition to the Stupid Party,

they're on the enemy side.
Michigan Democrats shot down an effort to significantly expand the vetting process for China-tied companies seeking to cash in on state incentives earlier in May.

Republican lawmakers in both chambers of the state’s legislature pushed budget amendments that would have prohibited the use of state funds to subsidize corporations originating from adversarial countries like China, but neither amendment made it into the budgets that passed on May 9 and May 15. House and Senate Democrats leveraged their control of each chamber to shoot down both amendments.

And for their favored illegal aliens, well, they have to make way for the sex offenders.  Who apparently come in over them on the victimhood scale.  Either that or the people in charge are truly effing stupid.
A Massachusetts agency reportedly housed homeless and migrant families with young children in the same hotels as registered sex offenders, according to the Boston Globe.

The state placed hundreds of homeless migrant families in at least six locations with sex offenders convicted of crimes against children, including pornography, rape and assault, the Boston Globe reported. Democratic Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey’s Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities rejected the outlet’s requests for information on sex offenders, but said after the outlet identified offenders that the agency checks shelters against the registry every six months.

Ah, the people Biden is trying to buy the votes of,

aren't they wonderful?

And all the Democrats they're linked to, far as I can tell, are all socialists who hate the US.  Match made in hell, isn't it?

It's that other late-in-the-day time on that second night,

and it's in the usual place

Someone had this posted on bookface,

and damn.
They didn't have the story, just the picture.  Someone screwed up bigtime.

Has anyone else noticed Blogger doing some weird things

the last few days?

Gov. Howler is trying to change his image,

from vicious, abusive tyrant who got a lot of people killed and ruined businesses and jobs, to "I didn't ORDER them to do that, they did it on their own!"

Lying, nasty bastard he still is.  Who's probably wanting to run for office again and wants those inconvenient truths to go away.

As that time has arrived,

you'll find it all below the break

Good. Now we'll see if the prosecutors live up to this

Pro-Hamas Professor Loay Alnaji Heading to Trial, Charged With Manslaughter in Death of Paul Kessler
Short version: this clown attacked a pro-Israel demonstrator, hit him, caused him to fall and fracture his skull, and he died.

Things are finally coming out, and it demonstrates why "Trust the Experts/Science!" is bullshit

At long last, National Institutes of Health (NIH) principal deputy director Lawrence Tabak admitted to Congress Thursday that US taxpayers funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China in the months and years before the COVID-19 pandemic.
...
“Tabak was engaging in the usual obfuscation and semantic manipulation that is so frustrating and pointless,” Nickels said, adding that the NIH bigwig was resisting accountability for risky research that can create pathogens of pandemic potential.

"What? Take responsibility? That's not what we do!" seems to cover it nicely.

Now this:
The nation’s top public health official during the Covid-19 pandemic admitted that the origins of the coronavirus remain up for debate, the lab-leak theory is not a conspiracy, and that there was no scientific evidence to support the government’s social-distancing guidance.
Collins and Fauci trashed anyone who dared contradict their Preferred Narrative, damaged and destroyed careers, and got God only knows how many people killed, it appears in large part to protect themselves from having to answer what they'd been doing for years.

Appears what they should've all been saying was "Trust OUR Experts, and OUR version of  Science!"

Well, isn't it nice to have such open hatred on display,

especially so all-encompassing: she hates Jews, she hates the US, pretty much anything that gets in the way of her desire for a judenfrei and socialist world.especially so all-encompassing: she hates Jews, she hates the US, pretty much anything that gets in the way of her desire for a judenfrei and socialist world.

And she's in the House.

I'm hot, tired, and stink, but before I hit the shower

I need to do some clearing

A bit of news gathering and stuff

More "Google: We ARE Evil"

A lot of people really want the Soviet Union back, they just call it the European Union.

Yes, Biden & Co. have screwed the border, and it's screwing us.

Yes, the Biden diary is real.  Which means more demonstration Pres. Gropey is a real nasty piece of work(we already knew), and the media can't be trusted(which we also knew).

Shooty stuff, in this case shooting without the sights.  Which is always a good subject to send a lot of people over the edge.

And now there are things to do.  More later if I get some of them done.

On that Ruger had a chance to try,

the gentleman* had a suppressor, and among other things fired some of the Hornady 190-grain Sub-X ammo.

Holy crap.  The stuff is quiet from a semi-auto, but from a bolt gun with no action-cycling noise, it was amazing.

Couple of busy days, some weather maybe moving in,

this would be a great time to take that few days vacation on a beach.

One last thing: they'll have to decide if they want to play Green, or

if they want the power to run their businesses.  Because, barring a bunch of new nuke plants, they're not going to get both.

Ran across a Substack you might like

Bat shit crazy broads vs. the rest of us

Looks like some other interesting writing, too

Consider just how bad this is

It means they could've helped the Israelis end this faster, with fewer casualties.
It means they didn't do it because, I suspect, they were trying to help Hamas survive.
It means that said leaders are now somewhere else and that data is no good.

All for votes in two states Biden needs to win.

Had a chance to try something new today

A Ruger American Ranch Rifle Generation II in .300 Blackout

Have a friend who has a first generation in .223, which he loves.  This has some upgrades,
Compensator on the muzzle
Adjustable stock length
Adjustable comb height
Adjustable trigger(which I think was on the Gen I also)
Cerakote finish
Better(I think) magazine release
The stock has a 'spatter' finish and texture that should be quite nice in wet/cold conditions.

Short, light, and from the few I put through looks like quite accurate.  That trigger is very nice.  Personally, I have no actual need for one, but I kinda want one.

At some point, some of the people in these countries are going to be fed up,

and I think some of the politicians who allowed- hell, encouraged- this to happen will be having a real sporty time.
A teenage girl was 'loaned out' by her 'lover boy' boyfriend to be sexually abused by his friends in Belgium who filmed the attack on their phones and shared images on social media, according to reports, in a case that has shocked the country.

The 14-year-old girl was abused by ten minors on up to three occasions between April 2 and April 6 over the Easter holidays, prosecutors say.

And, no surprise,
Prosecutors arrested ten suspects aged between 11 and 16 - all reported by local outlets to be boys of 'immigrant origin' - and hauled them in for interrogation.

Germany just fined a legislator for the offense of pointing out that a huge number of crimes are committed by immigrants, so the stupid continues.

With this administration, you've got three choices now:

They are so effing stupid they actually believe Hamas will stop doing what it's promised to(over and over) if Israel stops now,
They're so corrupt and power-hungry they'd do anything, including help save terrorists and abandon hostages, if it might get them some more votes in the "We hate Jews and want Sharia law everywhere!" places,
Or, for some reason, they actually WANT Israel to be attacked forevermore, and trying to save Hamas will cause that.

Of course, could be a mix of all three, considering a lot of the people they have advising them and directing them.

Well, yeah, why would they want to investigate?

It's not like they knew there was lawbreaking, or-
NEW: Georgia Election Board dumbfounded after finding out that 3,000 ballots were scanned twice in the 2020 election recount in Fulton County.

The board also revealed that 380,761 ballot images from machine count were “not available.”

Q: Does Fulton County know why there are not 380,761 ballot images from election day?

A: As with the investigators we have not been apprised of this allegation. This is the first I'm hearing about it.

General counsel for the secretary of state’s office Charlene McGowan confirmed that Fulton County broke the law in their recount.

“Fulton County used improper procedures during the recount of the presidential contest in 2020.”

Despite this, the board refused to approve further investigation.

Well, I'm sure there's some good reason...
