Our esteemed Mayor shot his fool mouth off about how the acquittal was an outrage, not that he knew anything except the racial bigotry that ended up with Reginald Denny unable to drive or hold a paying job anymore. After Mayor Bradley gave his stamp of approval, the city caught fire, including stores, as I remember, at La Cienega and Jefferson. The furthest west this racial bigotry was expressed was on Lincoln Blvd in Venice.
