We think he had a seizure on Thursday, made an emergency run to the vet and he just went downhill from there. We finally made the decision to put him out of his misery the following Wednesday. That was one of the hardest things I have ever done, and I don't think I will have the strength to ever do it again. Thank you for all your kind words.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8515829.post-25135584482198536912008-10-10T15:08:00.000-07:002008-10-10T15:08:00.000-07:00He started having seizures; a couple at first, the...He started having seizures; a couple at first, then got worse & worse. When you love animals like you should, they become a part of the family. You lose that family member when they pass....the grief is the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8515829.post-86601928889105754272008-10-09T20:05:00.000-07:002008-10-09T20:05:00.000-07:00Sorry, that sucks. Sometimes, at night...I would be in the backyard with her and she would just sit in the darkness and howl. It was beautiful and it was eerie.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8515829.post-85727313330570991052008-10-09T14:52:00.000-07:002008-10-09T14:52:00.000-07:00OH MY GOODNESS! "Sheba" was taller than me when she would stand on her back legs. One day, out of the blue, she went for my mom's throat. Once that happens, it's only a matter of time before they succeed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
