The law is ONLY important when it serves THEIR needs. So unless the good judges have a brigade of armed enforcers who will show up and TAKE these records the DOJ will simply ignore this court order. <br /><br />That is the weak point in our system. One branch can make laws, another can rule on those laws as valid or not but the ONLY branch tasked with enforcing the choices of the other two cannot be forced to do anything they choose to not do. <br /><br />Andrew Jackson acknowledged this weakness in the system two centuries ago when he said regarding a SCOTUS ruling "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!"
