Beat up, ugly, hard to smog (I'm in Cali alas) rattletrap that needed and got a new home.

Still felt melancholy about the whole thing. A.B. I still miss the truck, even if it dripped oil, and I couldn't trust it for any trip over 20 miles. It was the best $300 I ever spent, since it was my ticket out my parent's house. That was the only year they tried some sort of new fangled brake system. Would have cost to repair about twice what the car was worth. Sold it to some dude for about $1000 for parts.
The boys and I watched that dang thing being tow trucked out of our lives. Heh, we all were "having dust in the eyes". They still talk about that car!

SteveStevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02244853101089859845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8515829.post-70661538719944180992020-02-19T15:27:43.767-08:002020-02-19T15:27:43.767-08:00It's like passing the torch off to a new owner...It's like passing the torch off to a new owner, now someone else will enjoy your old truck.Tractordudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01870458436338777029noreply@blogger.com
