I've got a couple o...I hear you about the expense. I've got a couple of .22 bolt-actions that are very good shooters with Lapua M or L match ammo (not quite so good with the Eley you tried), but only plinkers with the cheap Federal bricks. The Lapua costs about as much for a box of 50 as the Federal costs for a brick of 550.
