He supports muslim countries where they actually KEEP SLAVES,

and then says this crap:
The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said Wednesday that refusing to accept Muslim refugees is the moral equivalent of slavery.
Let it be noted that this organization supports muslim terrorists, etc., and then bitches about how nasty the US is for fighting said terrorists.  Etc.

Screw you, you slimy bastard.

A ‘civil war’ over painkillers rips apart the medical community — and leaves patients in fear
Tell you what: a doctor is illegally prescribing or selling meds, investigate, arrest, and prosecute.  When he's helping patients in pain, leave it the hell alone on the legal side.

Which includes telling the DEA to stop telling people what meds and how much they'll be allowed to prescribe.
The medical community’s battle over painkillers burst out into the open in late 2015, when the New England Journal of Medicine published a commentary in which two doctors argued that chronic pain patients should focus not on reducing the intensity of their pain, but on their emotional reactions to it.

The authors, Dr. Jane C. Ballantyne, the president of Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing, and Dr. Mark D. Sullivan, argued patients should pursue “coping and acceptance strategies that primarily reduce the suffering associated with pain and only secondarily reduce pain intensity.”
Having known a couple of people over the years who had to take serious meds for really nasty pain, said two doctors can go piss up a rope.  'Emotional reactions' my ass.

Metallic hydrogen.  Interesting.  All the 'It can do ALL THIS!' stuff remains to be seen, including if it'll stay in metallic form once the pressure is removed.

This is encouraging as hell.  Especially with that Mexican border problem.

Ah, Comrade Mayor, such a shit you are.

Ah, screw the news, I need to clean the house a bit.  And roll some ammo.

DEA meddling in the prescription drug provision part of medical care is responsible for a measurable portion of the medical cost inflation that is the real health care crisis.

I am a chronic migraine sufferer. I am 56 years old, and on soc sec disability finally, after 35 years of foundry work. So I am not a lazy good for nothing. The only thing that will stop a migraine for me is a narcotic medication. And believe me, I have been through the gambit, from headache clinics to drug trials, to state university hospitals. I have tried just about every drug and combination you can think of. Nothing has worked for me. I used to go to a redi med, the doctor there would give me a huge shot of demerol and send me on my way, no problem. So of course, the Feds shut him down and took his license away. Now, my family doctor gives me 15 norco pills a month, that I have to ration for chronic daily migraines. You can probably imagine my quality of life. That is why I am retired, and on disability. Thanks, DEA, and medical establishment as a whole. And no surprise that there is a heroin epidemic. It is easier for people to get than norco here in my town. Stupid.

Yep, now there are two doctors who haven't experienced enough pain in their own lives and bodies. What do you want to bet that their attitude is something on the order of, "But pain hurts ME."
Maybe they ought to focus more on their emotional reactions to socialized medicine reducing their pay rather than fighting over said reductions.

Metallic hydrogen: It's certainly not encouraging that the "science correspondent" confounds pressure and temperature. I really hope that's a misquote from the actual scientist - assuming it's not a fraud.

My best guess is that there is a theoretical possibility that metallic hydrogen would remain in the metallic phase at room temperature, but no way that it would remain metallic if the pressure is released.
