"Nobody wants to take your guns" my ass, Part 872

Hollywood actor Matt Damon used a press conference in Australia over the Fourth of July weekend to discuss his desire for a massive confiscation of U.S. guns.

“You guys did it here in one fell swoop [in 1996] and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly,” Mr. Damon said during a promotional engagement in Sydney for the movie “Jason Bourne.”
One more asshat actor who's gotten rich from movies in which he blows up, shoots, and otherwise kills people all over the place tells us that we peasants shouldn't be allowed arms.  Because he doesn't like it.

Two things, Damon:
Are you planning on taking part in this confiscation?

And are you going to stop making movies where you use guns?  Or give up the royalties from all the ones you've already made?

We know the answer to both is 'No', which makes you one more virtue-signaling asshole who really wants power over others.  Screw you.

The confiscation rate in Australia was roughly 20%. 80% of the "guns on the street" are still on the street in Australia.

I'll take those odds. Show me what you've got, "actor".

When asked about firearms confiscations, Mr. Damon's armed security details were unavailable for comment.

FUCK YOU Mr. Damon.
