Learn to read a map, assoles. I live at the same latitude as EGYPT. We don't have AC in the parts of America that are at the same latitude as France and Germany here. We call them CANADA.
I also remember a summer when 14,000 elderly French citizens died of the heat. The medical and rescue crews that should have been helping them were on vacation, and after generations of semi-socialism, they were too poor to simply buy a small air conditioner and stick it in a window.
