So out comes the standard "I misspoke" to try and cover up what he said. Or excuse it. He doesn't care, as long as it takes some of the heat off.
Miserable little shits wind up in Congress, and stay there, because enough of the voters approve of this crap to keep them there. At least until one of them, or their kids, winds up in the grinder. THEN they'll discover a problem with this.

Or, stealing from Tam, Increasing funding to the BATFEIEIO to combat gun trafficking is like giving money to the Sinaloa Cartel to cut down on dope smuggling.
And the prosecutors, staff and 'regulators' who're lawyers aren't yet up for disbarment why?

I don't understand how the batfinks not only are supposed to enforce the laws, they are also charged with writing them. Like we would let our local police do that. I can just imagine some of the fun new "laws" they would come up with to keep us "safe".
And I thought that just the legislative branch wrote laws. How silly of me.
