Proof that idiocy lives on, and a high income and Big-Name-College education

doesn't mean you're not an idiot.
“I don’t know anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. They are like this huge mystery group,” the CEO said. [Shades of Pauline Kael! -- Ed] “So it’s a combination of shock and bewilderment. No one really knows why this is happening.
Yeah, lots of people know why it's happening; but people like you are so busy breathing each others oxygen and kissing each others ass that you DON'T PAY ATTENTION.  Because a whole bunch of people have told you exactly why it's happening, and you still don't know.

“I don’t think Trump is going to win, but I do worry about all the damage being done to Republicans among Hispanics and women by him being such an idiot,” said a senior executive and major GOP fundraiser at a large bank who also declined to be identified by name.
Let's see... his support has actually gone up among those two groups.  Possibly because lots of citizens of latino descent aren't all that wild about illegal aliens either?  And maybe a lot of women like someone who's not so busy kissing PC ass?

In the Politico article you hear lots of "We don't understand why Jeb isn't doing well!" and "What's keeping Hillary down?"

Did I mention these people are idiots?

Hillary is in the pockets of Wall Street(and vice versa), and Jeb is too.  Everyone knows it.  And lots and lots of people are sick to death of career politicians who're sold-out before they ever hold office.  How damned hard is that to understand?

Apparently, for some people, pretty damned hard.
