Among the reasons son left the Army were

lack of training, constant bullshit, and idiot ROE that seemed designed to get our troops killed.  And yeah, every bit of that crap comes from on high, as in Sodom on the Potomac.

I would say, from what I've read, it's not only the Army; training time seems to be real short everywhere, the Navy is short on ships, the Marines and Air Force seem to be in the same hole on training, and they're all headed by too many high-ranking bosses who seem far more politicians in uniform than soldiers*.  Which reminds me of the family at a funeral for their son, who had written to them before his death about the moronic ROE.  Admiral who'd been in charge of the mess was there, father asked him why the hell the troops were handcuffed this way, and was basically told "It's hard on the troops now, but it should pay off later by not overly upsetting the locals.  We're trying to win their hearts."

How that father avoided kicking the shit out of him, I do not know.

Among the reasons college costs so damn much; the bastards running things keep giving each other more money.

The mess in Baltimore over that guy who died in custody just got messier.

And while people are screaming and moaning about a lion they didn't give a damn about the day before, this is what's going through Congress:
The information they gather, including all the hacked data and any incidental information that happens to get swept up in the process, would be added to massive databases on people in the U.S. and all over the world that the FBI, CIA, and NSA are free to query at their leisure. This is how CISA would create a huge expansion of the “backdoor” search capabilities that the government uses to skirt the 4th Amendment and spy on Internet users without warrants and with virtually no oversight.

All of this information can be passed around the government and handed down to local law enforcement to be used in investigations that have nothing to do with cyber crime, without requiring them to ever pull a warrant. So CISA would give law enforcement a ton of new data with which to prosecute you for virtually any crime while simultaneously protecting the corporations that share the data from prosecution for any crimes possibly related to it.

Sounds like the Denver DA needs a kick in the ass

Some more of those 'little things'(i.e. 'people murdered by illegal aliens') that Gutierrez doesn't think should bother people.

And if they do bother you, he'll scream and yell and abuse.  Because that's what he does.
Wilkerson led the walkout as soon as Gutierrez began to rage at Vaughan for quoting him as saying a woman’s death at the hands an illegal alien was a “little thing.” Her son, Joshua, pictured with murderer — and “DREAMer” Hermilio Moralez below — died under torture on November 16, 2010, after giving Moralez a ride home. Moralez then tied him up and set him on fire, later bragging in court his “killing skills took over.”

Speaking of some of those wonderful people and their cultures we're supposed to welcome,
— Seventy-seven percent of reported sexual assaults in Lima, Peru, are against child victims, according to the Latin American and Caribbean Youth Network for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (REDLAC).
— A U.N. Special Rapporteur concluded that the only explanation for “the high degree of impunity for violence against women” in Guatemala was that “at least some of the violence was committed by the authorities.”
— CNN reports that 318 10-year-old girls gave birth in Mexico in 2011.
In all of Western Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand combined, there have been eight reported births to girls aged 10 or younger. Seven of the eight involved Third World immigrants.
— The REDLAC report said that girls between the ages of 10 and 15 accounted for more than 15 percent of all births in Argentina and 17 percent of all births in Uruguay.
By contrast, less than 2 percent of births in the U.S. are to girls in that age group — and most of those are Hispanics, who are seven times more likely to give birth between the ages of 10 and 14 than whites, according to a Centers for Disease Control study.

I'm using that to cover everyone

Vietnam was as bad in it's own way ROE was totally un-workable and everyone i talked to when there believed we were being deliberately prevented from achieving victory.
