So get rid of the whole damn organization

and let the airports do it.
Over the course of my six years with the TSA, the leveraging of rules and surveillance tools to abuse passengers was a daily checkpoint occurrence. Has the TSA screener searching your luggage suddenly decided to share with you the finer points of official bag-search procedure just as your final boarding call is being announced? There’s a good chance that he or she just doesn’t like you. Or in some cases, as we’ve seen, it may be that the screener finds you attractive and wants to use the TSA rules as an excuse to get his or her hands on you.
Add to that stealing peoples' stuff, get rid of the whole damn bunch.

And as Charles Krauthammer said over a decade ago, “To understand the workings of American politics, you have to understand this fundamental law: Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.” Which is why Boing Boing would rather be trapped in PC purgatory with their fellow leftists than know that there’s someone on the right willing to defend them, as this round-up of tweets at Twitchy.com illustrates.
Have fun storming each others’ castles, fellas — as you discover the hard way Jonathan Chait’s recent warning to his fellow leftists that PC was devouring them:

Board of Trustees Vice President Scott Svonkin: you're a sorry little control-freak hoplophobe, and you suck.
After six years of offering the non-credited yet popular NRA-based gun safety course, the Los Angeles Community College announced that the class has been dropped due to new restrictions set up by the school’s board of trustees.

The Board of Trustees Vice President Scott Svonkin, who helped to write the new resolution, told Campus Reform in an interview Monday that he felt the school had no business teaching firearms safety, but rather the facility should have the responsibility to “promote gun control.”
Little shit makes no bones about it: "I don't know anything about them, but they scare me, and I want to use my authority to try to make them go away."
