Day that officially got us into WWII.

Had a great-uncle who was a diver in the Navy; after this spent the war in the Pacific, wound up with a full-disability out of it.  Only heard him say a word about any of it the day Bill Clinton was trying to gin up support for attacking Iraq to distract from his bad publicity problems; George was not complimentary, and said a couple of things about Tarawa.

RIP, guys.
