The dovetail, it is cut

First time I've been able to watch someone actually setting the mill up and doing this.  Straightforward, but with a dovetail you get one pass; no room for error on the depth.

I need to do a bit of filing to fit the sight, then I can put this thing back together and try it out.  Couple of other things I'm going to look at, but right now it's late and I'm tired.  So I will leave you with a pic of a sniper team that has remarkable self-discipline, because they've got to be damned uncomfortable
