One more dead in a SWAT raid

that didn't need to happen.  This time, another cop.
A police officer suffered fatal injuries while performing a pre-dawn no-knock raid on a local residence to  search  for drugs.  Several officers were shot by a resident as they tried to enter an apartment through a ground-level window under the cover of darkness.
...
Police spent 12 hours combing the house for evidence of drugs.   No drugs were listed on the evidence sheet.  They did seize a laptop, a safe, a pistol, and a glass pipe, according to documents obtained by KWTX.
I'm sure there's some reason, so I'd like to know: why the bloody WINDOW?  Seems like trying to get through a smashed window wearing X pounds of tactical gear would be a bit, awkward?  Especially if you actually think there's a violent druggie inside.

What made this so damned whatever that it was decided to break in through WINDOWS in the night instead of serving the warrant when he left?  Y'know, in the daylight?

Damn.

No sympathy whatsoever for Det. Dimwit who has been removed from the gene pool or the other badgemonkey's who unfortunately survived to pass on their genetic deficiencies. The person who is the ONLY victim here is Mr. Gay who will be CRUCIFIED by the pirates infesting the bench for having the audacity to defend himself from violent attack by state sponsored criminals.
