Petraeus says, in a very polite way, "You are NOT going to lay blame

for this on me."
Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”
It's been a question as to when/what Petraeus would say something; we have the answer.  And yeah, I think he waited as long as he felt he could to speak; and then said it flatly.

Which lays the responsibility for the failure to authorize right at the feet of Obama, Clinton and Panetta.
