President Obama has granted an 11th-hour request by Attorney General Eric Holder to exert executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents, a last-minute maneuver that appears unlikely to head off a contempt vote against Holder by Republicans in the House.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is expected to forge ahead Wednesday morning with its meeting on the contempt resolution anyway.

Shame on our congress! GOP hello-this is precicely why these folks are out of touch. We are discussing the most ridiculous and petty items in a time when we should be working together to help the American People. It is another confirmation that the GOP is ego driven, bi-polar and the most selfish entity on this planet. How do they live with themselves with such aburded behavior and actions.
Yep. Thousands of guns smuggled to drug cartels, hundreds of Mexicans dead, two US LE officers dead(that we know of), and it's a 'most rediculous and petty item'. Yep. Sure.
