The Rodney King riots; you know, the mess Sharpton & Co.

would love to cause a rerun of? A good thing to remember just what these RWPP bastards want to cause.
For a more personal view, this from Seraphic Secret is good:
“Look how close they are,” says Karen.

“Just past La Cienega. Maybe eight blocks away.”

Karen gives me a long penetrating gaze:

“What do we do if they come here?”

My mind is racing away. The truth is we are defenseless. Unless I get crazy inventive like Dustin Hoffman in Straw Dogs.

“After this is all over,” I vow, “I’m going to buy a pistol.”

Karen says: “How about a shotgun?”
That's from Part I; Part II and III have more.

Speaking of shotguns, if you watch the 'store NOT being looted' video at Ace, note the somewhat dazed sound of the news reader talking about that shopkeeper on the roof; hell YES he was displaying it, they WANTED the rioters to know they were prepared. It worked, too. Some stores they fired to keep rioters and arsonists away; those stores weren't burned or looted either.

Under the heading of "What the government controls, it can take away":
A majority of doctors support measures to deny treatment to smokers and the obese, according to a survey that has sparked a row over the NHS's growing use of "lifestyle rationing".

Some 54% of doctors who took part said the NHS should have the right to withhold non-emergency treatment from patients who do not lose weight or stop smoking. Some medics believe unhealthy behaviour can make procedures less likely to work, and that the service is not obliged to devote scarce resources to them.

President Hopety-Changety just bypassed Congress to give $192 million we don't have to a terrorist organization that wants to commit genocide; isn't that special?

Why hasn't John Corzine been indicted? Or already in jail? Because he has a 'D' after his name and he's putting money in Obama's campaign. "Screw the people he robbed, we want that money!"

Well, yeah, anything that makes life more difficult for overlords and surveillance cameras, go to it.

"Constitution? I'm supposed to be concerned about this?" Yes you are, Sebelius, you even swore you would. As if that means anything to you.

They still won't say it outright, but the OWS clowns are openly working with the communists to try to screw things up tomorrow. And it doesn't seem to bother them that shutting down transport can get people killed; then again, they like communism so why would they?

Pournelle goes back & forth with a warmenist; kind of amazing to read.

Well, crap, either my screen is screwing up, or my video card. More later
