Opinions large and small, worth everything you pay for them.
Okay, comments seem to be working again.About killing trolls: they have problems with daylight. The characters seem to be using something like an UV-lamp, which presumably turns at least some of them to stone. After that you can just use a sledgehammer (as seems to happen). And these critters seem to be mostly Mountain Trolls, based on their size. There are different varieties, and some can be quite small (at least in Finnish folklore, but our troll stories are fairly similar to Norwegian ones). You might consider having the bullets blessed by a priest or something similar. Presumably it was Christianity which originally drove them into hiding, so that might give you better odds. At least we have a few stories of trolls turning to stone when they heard church bells (I suppose it's not likely that will happen in this movie... I'm a neopagan when it comes to personal beliefs but I don't really like the current Christianity bashing happening in our popular culture. The values of Western civilization are mostly good ones, and they are mostly Christian values).
The troll on the bridge is easily controlled. Just spit over the railing, then any trolls under the bridge can't come out. Any Norwegian kid knows that.Game over.
Watching the video clips makes me feel scared. I have never seen a troll yet in my entire life; I wished to see one. Norwegian films are really great and thrilling.
