I was pointed to a post with a definite safety problem noted

A couple, actually

Let's see, it's aimed AT the lady, his finger is at least in the guard and appears to be on the trigger... and this being Britain it's one of their Very Specially Trained Firearms Officers. Not good.

By the way, what the hell is his right thumb doing on that side of the grip? And if he's that focused through his sight on the driver, he's not seeing anything else, I wouldn't think.

Proof (as though we needed any more of it) that citizen disarmament makes us less safe.

even an insect making Plod / Roscoe flinch could have been fatal.

If an accident caused by this shit even went to trial, that sufficient jurors would know that the Plod's reckless and unsafe gun handling was to blame.

Chances are Plod there, never held a gun before joining the "FORCE". Far too late in life to easily learn and embed the skills of safe gun handling.

to summarise:
Disarmed citizens don't even spot the problem,

Disarmed citizens would be unlikely to convict if "But Boss Hogg, it just went off".

Plod/Roscoe is learning these skills too late in life

Meanwhile, the steroid fed bouncer Roscoe there, was supposed to be looking for, had no trouble getting a gun within hour / couple of days of getting out of prison.

Absolute Boss Hogg Eff up!

That'll teach me to write in word first and proof read!

"If an accident caused by this shit even went to trial, (it is doubtful whether)sufficient jurors would know that the Plod's reckless and unsafe gun handling was to blame (even if carefully explained to them - they just do not have the first hand experience)".

Yeah, she looks dangerous.

Probably had an evil pointy knife she was going to use at a church social, or something just as bad.

I suppose that bunch of reactionaries, The Women's insurr, sorry, Institute, did slow handclap Blair into stunned silence and off the podium at their conference in '97.

Dangerous bunch, late fifty something women!

I'd missed the thumb, so busy looking at the fore finger.

Glad to see the Boss 'ogg comparison catching on!
