As it's 91F, with humidity at 61%,

I'm going to plant my ass here in the shade and check out the news. Like the 10-step program Hanson suggests to Obama. Some problems with it:
1. I don't think Obama is capable of cutting off the racial bullcrap; he lives and breathes it, along with all his buttmonkeys.
2. "The country is pleased and relaxed to see the President relaxing", etc. ad bullshit. Think he actually cares what we think of him taking another golf break or another vacation?
3. "I am appointing what I consider the best people for these positions. The country will come to see that I'm right. How dare you say I should stop appointing socialistsercommunistsuh, progressives to positions of power?"
4. You think he's capable of telling her to stop? Or that she'd listen?
5. See #1; I don't think he's CAPABLE of seeing this country in a good light.
6. He doesn't think the rules apply to him and his; so why shouldn't he be a friggin' hypocrite?
Etc.

The pressure on Holder's DOJ just ratcheted up a notch. Good.

Even more Friends of Angelo in the Senate. That's the 'Most Ethical Congress EVAH!!!, if you'll recall.

Democrats really don't want people getting too good a look at things in the Gulf, do they?
Media outlets such as The New York Times, Columbia Journalism Review, and NPR have written damning reports of the government's unreasonable attempts to limit access to the spill. The New Orleans Times-Picayune was prohibited from flying a plane over the spill so a photographer could get pictures. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., was denied permission to take a boat out to the spill with reporters and examine the catastrophe affecting his state. The Associated Press sent a letter of protest with the White House over the arbitrary restrictions. A CBS camera crew was threatened with arrest for trying to report from a beach affected by the spill.

On Tuesday, responding to the criticism, National Incident Commander Thad Allen lifted the 65 ft media ban for credentialed journalists. But if past is prologue, it's unlikely that we've seen the end of unfair press restrictions in the gulf
.

The wonders of Chicago Politics. Let's not forget Obama pulled the same crap.

So BP is an even more slimy company that previously thought. And they gave how much to Obama, again? And got what considerations, again?

First, anybody who doubts Obama is anti-business(at least business of an actual free enterprise type) is a fool or blinded by ideology. Second,
“The stakes are far too high for us to be working against one another,” the letter from Jarrett and Emanuel said. “That is why we were surprised and disappointed at the rhetoric we have heard from some in the business community.”
would probably translate to
"How dare you oppose us?!? You're supposed to do what you're told! You're causing us problems, and you'll regret it!"

And that's about enough news for now
