Add it all up, and I truly despise this president

For those not familiar with flag etiquette, the United States flag is never to be flown lower then another country's flag and it should never be dipped. When it is displayed alongside flags of other nations it must be the same height or higher. The flag as depicted in this picture is dipped, think of it as a bow.

I am not an expert on perspective, but it looks to me that the flags are mounted on adjacent sides of a square-cornered structure. We see the American flag in profile, but the Indian flag almost straight on. The flags both look to me as if they are mounted in fixed brackets.

I suspect that someone with a 3-D modeling or drafting program could settle the question pretty quickly.

Serving a state dinner in a tent, on the other hand, is so low class I can't stand it. Interestingly, when I saw the report on the evening news, they concentrated on the elegance of the place settings. Perhaps they, too, were a bit embarrassed by the President's gaffe.

This half-breed schmuck shows all the class of a street pimp. Every time I think he's done the dumbest dumb-ass thing possible, he proves my wrong in spades.

Stay Classy, Barry!

Why, in the name of all that is holy can't someone rein this arrogant ass in?

Had a chat with the editor of my local fish wrap today. I asked and got no answer as to exactly what benefits accrue to the hapless subscriber to his rag. He couldn't tell me one benefit. Then I pointed out that was exactly why I don't read or buy it. This kind of pass the mainslime media gives Teh Iwon that GWB never got is just one more reason not to have anything to do with them.
