to Mexico' bullcrap is, very simply, if a dealer were selling piles of firearms to straw man buyers here, and they were being smuggled into Mexico and used by the drug gangs, why wasn't ATF and the FBI nailing the dealers? I mean, they seem to have no problem screwing with people because a customer- gasp!horror!!- abbreviated a city or street name on a form, so why wouldn't they loudly and publicly go after the dealers?
The reporter clearly discussed the difference between automatic weapons and the semiautomatics that Holder wants to ban. Lou Dobbs says that the Mexican government won't provide the serial numbers of guns supposedly smuggled in from the U.S.--which suggests that they were actually obtained from the Mexican Army.
Indeed. If they were being smuggled from the US from those non-existent dealers selling select-fire weapons and RPGs over the counter, why would they not provide the serial numbers? Why, because the claim is a pile of crap, that's why.
