I have a whiskey bleg

I am at a friend's house, and just had a taste of this for the first time in a LOONG damn time
This, I promise you, is some of the finest stuff to come out of Scotland. It's bloody wonderful. As in, until I tasted it tonight, I'd actually forgotten how good it is.

Yes, I HAVE had a bit..

Here's the thing: the friends brought it back from Scotland, where they'd been on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. Because nobody imports the stuff, for God knows what reason. Here's the bleg:
The importer for Glenfiddich is
William Gran & Sons
US Importer, Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
200 Park Avenue South, Suite 121i
New York, NY 10003

Write/e-mail/call/beg them to start importing this wonderful stuff. It won't be cheap, but this isn't something you swig; it's something you savor. A bit at a time.

Let me put it this way: think of the finest whiskey you've ever had, with a honey liqueur, the best of both in one dram. Maybe a touch of smoke in there. Oh God, and I've only got a sip left...

Write. Call. E-mail, whatever. If they start importing it, I don't have to consider stealing a bottle.

Is it similar to Drambuie?

Better. By far. If it wouldn't cause me to be blackballed forever, I'd steal the rest of the bottle. THAT good.

Cool! That goes on my bucket list, right next to Johnny Walker Blue Label.

Scotland gets some of their whiskey barrels from the Jim Beam distillery here in Clermont Kentucky.
