Blogging will be light

Son arrived last night; he's home on leave for a bit. So until he gets some things taken care of here and heads to see the wife, I'll have little to say.

I'll try to make up for it later, I promise.

'Promise', not threat, dammit.

Dolly has a song that is very appropriate- "Welcome Home".

I second what 'blueym' said/typed!

And with that typed I have say it again too, to Firehand Jr: Thank you very much for your service to our country. I/we are in your debt!

And thanks to you, Firehand, for the time you put in to these always interesting and informative blog posts.

Sir,

Please pass on our thanks to your son for his service to our country. My family will soon have another generation in service to our country. Our 18 year old son has decided to join the Marines. I begin to feel the emotions your wife and you must be feeling. Congrats on raising a fine young man.

Enjoy your time with him. May God bless and keep you both.

Oh, and Firehand? I can't wait to see how you're gonna make this up for being out of pocket for a bit. I think I might just hold you to that 'Promise'. I've got plenty of ideas as to how I would like for you to make it up...with a nice...long...hard...deep...
